Hi, I’m Aqeel.

I’m a Senior UX Designer and UX Engineer who makes complex products easier to understand and use.

For more than 10 years, I’ve worked across UX research, product design, interaction design, design systems and front-end development. My experience includes e-commerce at Amazon, healthcare and enterprise products at Philips, and SaaS platforms at Adecco, Floggy and Sproutfull.

I’m most effective on products where users need to understand complex information, follow demanding workflows and make decisions with confidence. My current work also explores how generative AI can support these tasks while keeping people in control.

User Research
I dig into both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover the real stories behind the data, insights that shape better, more human-centred decisions.

Experience Design
I use approaches like the double diamond to explore, test, and refine. From early sketches and flows to interactive prototypes, I keep the user’s needs at the centre of everything.

Prototype, Test & Iterate
For me, design doesn’t stop at the screen. I code in React, Vue, and JavaScript to bring ideas to life quickly, test them with real users, and iterate until the experience feels effortless.

A Little More About Me

Outside of work, you’ll often find me on a bike. I ride with a local cycling group and love exploring how data helps, and sometimes overwhelms, when tracking performance. That balance, giving people just the right information at the right moment, is something I carry into my design work.
